The actual 1970 film title was ‘The Party at Kitty and Stud’s’. The film has urban legend status since it was Sylvester Stallone’s first film and still has a strong global following. Contrary to reports, there were no actual hard core elements in the film. The movie was renamed ‘The Italian Stallion’ six years later to capitalize on Stallone’s ‘Rocky’ success. In 2010 the original 35mm negatives were sold on eBay for £270,000. That would be $431,234 at the time. The original film budget was $5,000.
